About MaZAR's Cuisine
MaZAR’s Cuisine was founded in 1991 by James Mazar. While working in the food industry, James had developed a quick and easy short cut to producing his own gourmet scampi dishes with his own Scampi Sauce. In an effort to make the expensive restaurant scampi dishes available to everyone in their own kitchens at an affordable price, MaZAR’s Scampi Sauce was born.

Ordinary chicken and seafood started taking on a new meaning when MaZAR’s Scampi Sauce was introduced in area supermarkets and local specialty shops.

MaZAR’s Scampi Sauce is a margarine/ butter blend with clove garlic, hand selected onions, fresh green peppers, fine Chablis wine and a dash of red and white vinegars and finished with a touch of chives. It can be used on a variety of products such as seafood, chicken, beef, pork, fresh vegetables and pasta.

We also produce a Garlic Butter Blend. The response has been overwhelming and institutions are insisting on ordering it by the 5 pound container. MaZAR’s Garlic Butter Blend is a butter/margarine blend with fresh garlic, parsley and hand selected onion. Area chefs are finding it useful as a base for many sauté dishes, garlic bread, pizza crust, fresh vegetables and more.
